Strategic Partnership Integrates Therapeutic Video Content with Expert Resident Engagement Services to Transform Memory Care and Assisted Living Experiences
Chicago, IL and Ft Worth, TX – Trestle Hospitality Concepts, a boutique hospitality consulting firm specializing in senior living, today announced a strategic partnership with Zinnia TV, the leading therapeutic streaming service for dementia care. This collaboration will integrate Zinnia's proven, evidenced-based therapeutic video content into Trestle's comprehensive Resident Engagement support services, creating an enhanced experience for memory care, assisted living, and residential care communities nationwide.
The partnership combines Trestle's expertise in resident engagement with Zinnia's therapeutic streaming technology to address the growing need for meaningful, calming content in senior living communities. Beginning September 1st, Trestle's Fractional Support service clients will receive community-level subscriptions to Zinnia TV as part of their resident engagement programs, while Zinnia's therapeutic videos will be seamlessly integrated into Trestle's acclaimed Engagement Guidesheets.
Under the agreement, Zinnia TV will provide its digital platform to Trestle to include as a part of their Fractional Director of Resident Engagement services, delivering specialty content with streaming and download functionality, subscriber access, and comprehensive support. Simultaneously, Trestle will develop exclusive specialty content for Zinnia's library, including their exclusive Engagement Guidesheets and other media resources designed for use by Zinnia's subscribers and customers across the senior living industry.
The partnership also includes the creation of a co-branded channel on Zinnia's platform, featuring activities that integrate existing and future Zinnia videos, accessible to all Zinnia subscribers. This innovative approach ensures that both companies' expertise enhances the overall value delivered to senior living communities.
The first offering from this partnership is the offering of the "Food Activity Bundle" that features 10 targeted and themed food-based activities that have been strategically paired up using Trestle's Engagement Guidesheets with some of Zinnia's best food-forward videos - you can get these here.
Aaron Fish, Founder of Trestle Hospitality Concepts, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration: "This partnership represents exactly the kind of innovation our industry needs. We've seen firsthand how Zinnia's therapeutic content transforms resident experiences, and by integrating their platform into our engagement services, we're able to offer something truly special. It's not just about adding another tool—it's about creating meaningful moments that enhance quality of life for residents while giving our activity teams the resources they need to succeed."
Bill Uniowski, Co-Founder of Zinnia TV, highlighted the partnership's innovative approach: "This collaboration takes therapeutic content beyond just passive viewing. By integrating our videos into Trestle's engagement framework, we're helping communities create structured, purposeful experiences that truly benefit residents with dementia and cognitive challenges. It's exactly the kind of thoughtful implementation that makes the difference between good intentions and real results."
Heather Burns, Corporate Director of Resident Engagement at Trestle Hospitality Concepts, spoke to the practical benefits for communities: "Our clients & prospects have been asking for more resources to support residents with dementia, and this partnership delivers in a way that's both evidence-based and incredibly practical. Having Zinnia's therapeutic videos integrated directly into our exclusive and custom Engagement Guidesheets means activity directors can implement these programs immediately, with clear instructions and proven outcomes. It's engagement support that actually works in the real world."
The partnership directly addresses key challenges facing memory care and assisted living communities, including staff training needs, resident engagement programming, and the demand for therapeutic, non-pharmaceutical interventions. Pilot programs are in the beginning phases, with the goal of getting feedback to enhance the offerings to ensure improved resident calm, increased engagement, and enhanced staff confidence in programming.
The collaboration targets memory care and assisted living communities, as well as smaller residential care homes that often lack the resources to develop comprehensive engagement programs independently. By combining Trestle's fractional support model with Zinnia's therapeutic content, the partnership makes high-quality resident engagement accessible to communities of all sizes.
